Calendars are great for keeping track of what's next and to-dos are great for keeping track of what needs to get done. But we often manage them separately, so it's hard to see everything that’s going on and prioritize what's important.

Now people using the Google Calendar Android and iOS apps can create Reminders to keep track of their to-dos alongside their events. Here’s how it works:

The bConnected team has been working with Google and other universities in response to reports of messages wrongly classified as SPAM. Based on our research, we’ve enabled an additional setting in bMail's (Google) routing configuration that is more compatible with our existing on-premise email systems. We believe this change will reduce the amount of mail being misidentified. We will continue to monitor the situation, and report additional findings to the user community.

In the meantime, here are a few recommended steps to take:

Box will be discontinuing support for Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) on December 31, 2015. As of January 2016, Microsoft will no longer support updates for IE 8, meaning that Box users on this browser will have a poor experience because certain features will not work as expected. Moreover, Microsoft will stop issuing out security patches for IE 8 making the browser vulnerable.

In the latest version of the Google Sheets app for Android, users can now add new and reply to existing comments. In the newest Google Docs app for Android, they can now see comments and suggestions in Print Layout view—and then resolve, close, accept, or reject those comments and suggestions—making it simpler to move between their desktop and mobile devices.

In 2003, in recognition of the growing threats posed by our use of the Internet for so much of what we do, the month of October was designated National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). The reality is that no individual, business, or government entity is solely responsible for securing the Internet. We each have a role in securing our part of cyberspace, including the devices and networks we use. Individual actions have a collective impact, and when we use the Internet safely we make it more secure for everyone.
