Google Workspace for Education is a cloud-based suite of productivity tools, which includes email, calendar, chat, contacts, drive, groups (bConnected Lists), keep, meet, sites, tasks
These core apps are available to the UC Berkeley community (current students, faculty, staff, and certain affiliates) at no-cost, with no advertisements. These apps are covered under the University of California systemwide contract with Google.
Note that Google Photos is disabled for all new accounts created. All existing accounts not using Google Photos as of July 5, 2023 now have Google Photos disabled. If you have a business need for Google Photos, you can complete this form to request access.
Additional Google Consumer Apps are available for your use, but are not covered under our UC contract. View full list of enabled Consumer Apps here.

*For collaborative content, use Shared Drives as opposed to a folder-that-is-shared to prevent data loss when someone leaves UC Berkeley or your team.
