Email and Calendar

G Suite for Education provides the UC Berkeley community with ad-free use of an @berkeley.edu email address, calendaring and more!

Mailing Lists and Groups

bConnected Lists (Google Groups) makes communication and collaboration with groups quick and easy. In addition to serving as a standard mailing list, you can use it to send calendar invites, and manage document sharing and permissions.

CalGroups is a service managed by the CalNet team that allows you to create and manage groups that can be utilized across multiple resources, including your bConnected Lists. 

Chat and Communication Tools

Hangouts Chat is a free collaboration tool built for teams that offers dedicated rooms and threaded conversations. Classic Hangouts is also available for one-on-one and group instant messaging. 

Hangouts Meet is a free video conferencing tool that's integrated with your calendar and other G suite apps. Check out all your Video Conferencing options. 

Online Storage, Sharing, and Document Management

bConnected account holders have free access to online storage in Drive and Box. Both of these services can also be used for content collaboration and sharing.
