New Students: Special Instructions for Microsoft Office Downloads

Before you begin the download and installation process for Microsoft Office software, run the Synchronize CalNet Passphrase Tool(link is external). This will ensure that your passphrase is in sync and prevent login failures later in the download process. (See example of download error message below, which now links to the passphrase syncing tool.) After this, you should be able to proceed with the regular download instructions available on the Microsoft Software service page: https://software.berkeley.edu/microsoft
