Starting January 1, 2017, the Google Drive desktop app will no longer support Microsoft® Windows® XP and Vista. These platforms are no longer actively supported by Microsoft.
After January 1, 2017, the Drive desktop app (officially: "Drive for Mac/PC") will continue to function normally for a short period. However, Google will no longer actively test or maintain Drive for Mac/PC on these unsupported operating systems.
These two operating systems are not supported by UC Berkeley; please submit a ticket to itcsshelp@berkeley.edu if you need assistance with moving to a supported operating system.
